Before you can view the moving text (therapy), you need to sign up for a Read-Right account. When signing up you will be asked to enter the following information:

• A valid email address
• Password (minimum six characters)
• Preferred name (optional)
• Gender
• Year of birth
• The side of your hemianopia (if known)

After registration you will be sent an e-mail. You follow the instructions in the e-mail to activate your account. There are 4 steps to be taken:

• Signing a consent form (so we can collect information about your reading performance)
• Complete first reading speed test
• Complete a visual field test
• Complete second reading speed test

We need these steps completed in order to track progress during therapy.

To download and install Read-Right therapy, you need the following minimum hardware configurations, operating systems and browsers:

• Hard disk space: 20MB.
• RAM: 1GB.
• Operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
• Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, Firefox 3.x, Safari 3.x.
